"BROTHER HOWE calls their music "cowpunk rock." Every time they play JUKES they are less "cow" and more "punk." This stuff is for fans of Uncle Tupelo, Social Distortion and The Rev. Horton Heat. They sound great." - Jukesbar.com
Brother Howe is a Country Punk band from Holland, MI formed in the summer of 2003. The self-recorded debut album "Rock 'N Roll Country" features straight ahead rock and punk songs and their own brand of country punk. The sound is unique, upbeat and catchy.
Recorded three years after the first album, the six-song Live EP demonstrates how the band’s sound and music has evolved into a purer form of country punk.
They are currently working on a follow up album.
As the name implies, Brother Howe is a family affair with Jason Howe on electric guitar and lead vocals, his wife Jeri Howe on acoustic guitar, brother Nathan Howe on bass and Ash Snyder on drums.
