Brother Howe has shown up in a couple of corners of the internet world lately and I thought you’d like to know.
First, our song She Don’t Come ‘Round Here No More from our first album, Rock ‘n Roll Country was featured on a podcast called Outlaw Punk Cowboy Show. Pretty cool!
Secondly, our video for Heaven Is My Retirement Plan turned up on a fly-by-night retirement plan information site that is no longer there (it was there on 12/18, but oh well). The video’s been viewed now 511 times. Not bad!
I went with some friends to see a Weezer concert a couple years ago when they were touring with the Foo Fighters. It was a great show (how could it not be?). Anyway, there was a point in the concert when they brought a random teenager out of the crowd to play a song with them. They handed him an acoustic guitar and showed him what chords to strum and got him playing as the rest of the band went into Undone (The Sweater Song). Even though we were in the second tier of seats I could see that all he was playing was G, C and D. ”Hey” I thought, “I bet we could do a country punk version of that!”
And so, today I sit at my control station ready to unleash upon the world our version of Undone (The Sweater Song) by Weezer. Here it is ladies and gentlemen, please download, listen, enjoy and let us know what you think by posting comments here on our blog.

Just wanted to post this song here and let you all know we have a song for you to check out. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below too! I’ve updated the website to allow this feature.
This song was inspired by a screenplay my brother Jeremy wrote called Beautiful Loser. It is set in Detroit and is about a soon-to-be out of work auto worker who reexamines his life after a chance encounter with Bob Seger.
Here ’tis: Hard To Find by Brother Howe
